The Monaco Bamford was a special commissioned piece by George Bamford to celebrate the limited edition TAG Heuer Monaco Bamford collaboration between Bamford Watch Department and TAG Heuer. When first chatting with George about possible design ideas, he mentioned happy memories of watching Steve McQueen race at Le Mans. There is so much history behind this iconic timepiece and we chose to highlight its racing heritage with an overlay of the back view of the 1970 Porsche 917K from McQueen’s movie ‘Le Mans’ on the bottom strap. Carbon meets the road with this classic!
